Come to the Saint Louis Art Museum for Finding Peace in Current Times, a day of collaborative programming sponsored by SLAM and Arts & Faith St. Louis. Saint Louis Story Stitchers Artists Collective will present screenings of the film, Peace in the Prairie, and a live performance that includes spoken word, music, and dance. Guided interfaith tours in the SLAM collection galleries will focus on themes of light, darkness, nature, and peace that resonate with the Story Stitchers performance and film screenings.
The event is free and no pre-registration is required.
11:00 am – Film screening of Peace in the Prairie in The Farrell Auditorium
(Running time 70 minutes)
3:00 pm – Interfaith tours in the galleries created specifically for this program.
(The theme of the tours is Light/Darkness/Nature/Peace. Tours depart from Sculpture Hall. Space is limited, and on a first come, first served basis.)
4:30 pm – Film screening of Peace in the Prairie in The Farrell Auditorium

6:00 pm – Live Youth Performance by Saint Louis Story Stitchers Artists Collective in The Farrell Auditorium
(Performance will be 30 minutes, followed by optional Q&A with the performers.)
7:00 pm – Interfaith tours in the galleries created specifically for this program.
