16th Annual Interfaith Concert
Sunday, October 11, 2026, 4:00pm
Sheldon Concert Hall & Art Galleries
You will not want to miss the 16th annual Interfaith Concert of Arts & Faith St. Louis at the Sheldon Concert Hall on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at 4 pm. Featured artists will be sopranos Christine Brewer and Sylvia McNair, along with our Interfaith Youth Chorus directed by Maria Ellis, and music from nine faith communities.
Each year we select a theme that finds common ground and resonates with all faiths, and this coming year our theme is “Compassion for All,” reminding us to be kind to all people.
Most St. Louisans know three-time Grammy Winner Christine Brewer, a soprano who has sung in all but two of Arts & Faith’s previous 15 Interfaith Concerts. This coming October we are excited to also present soprano Sylvia McNair, a friend of Christine’s and the Sheldon Concert Hall, who began her career at Opera Theatre of St. Louis and went on to sing at Covent Garden, the Metropolitan Opera, Sante Fe Opera, make over 70 recordings, and win two Grammy Awards. She has sung with the St. Louis Symphony and many American and European orchestras. It is a concert to put on your calendar!
